- Humiliated in his own time-period, the 25th century, Booster Gold became a time-traveling super-hero who uses high-tech equipment to fight crime, alongside his robotic side-kick Skeets, and now diseased best friend Ted Kord A.K.A. Blue Beetle.
He is initially depicted as a glory-seeking showboat from the future, using knowledge of historical events and futuristic technology to stage high-publicity heroics. Booster develops over the course of his publication history and through personal tragedies to become a true hero weighed down by the reputation he created for himself.
Briefly taking the alias Supernova during 52, he begins secretly working with Rip Hunter as a guardian of the timestream. He has been a member of the Justice League and the Time Masters.
